Visit the Paradise on Earth with North East Holiday Packages

I visited North-East a few years ago, on the occasion of a cousin’s wedding and was totally taken back by the sheer beauty present in this corner of our country. From the tea gardens to the culture of Assam, to the music capital of India, Shillong, everything was like a whiff of fresh air for me.
Travelling from New Delhi, the capital of India to the North East was absolutely a different experience all the way and back. The people, their lifestyle and culture, everything is so unexplored and so brand new that I wanted to visit each and every nook and corner of this region.

As my primary purpose of travel was different and of course because of the time constraints, I really could not opt for any of the North East holiday packages. But, people who are really into travelling and want to see something of this side must apply beforehand for a North East tour package.
My first stop was in Darjeeling where I came across huge groups of people comprising mainly of teenagers strolling on the mall road, enjoying their free time. This was probably because of the many private boarding schools that are located there. It was all very picturesque, specifically the toy train that runs along while you are climbing up the winding steep roads to reach the tea capital of the country.

Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim was my next destination where the clean and unsullied air welcomed me with arms wide open. The city follows very strict regulations in terms of traffic and transportation and that’s why it has been able to maintain it’s free from pollution title.  You must visit orchid sanctuaries, monasteries, art museums and exhibition centers etc to get the whole feel of the place.
My last stop was in Guwahati in Assam. It’s quite different from the other capitals of this region because it’s a very well developed city. I had quite a stay here as I shopped till I could drop for the lovely handicrafts that are made out of bamboo and for other apparels that are made from silk.
So visit this paradise in India and make the best out of your trip!
